How often do you consult your profit and loss sheet?

Daily, weekly, monthly?

Only when I am updating the accounts which is once a week. It is still inaccurate though as I have not entered all the data for the 0910 year end in April.

I was transfixed with the little green and red columns when I first started inputing data but as I have more red than green its not so enchanting.

I do like looking at the client category though. If some of my clients knew that they were on a league table then they would be all out to win. I'm not sure it would be ethical to use it as part of a marketing plan - Mr A you have only spent $10 this month, if you spend another $35 then you will be at the top of the table.

This is useful and I will be able to make a referral spider from it. I now ask every new client how they got to hear about me - if its one particular person or group of people then I think a small reward is in order.

I am asking then because I want to know which sites and directories are being visited on line if any at all.
